GREAT place, lines were not bad, cast members making sure your mask is over your nose. My only complaint is that every Disney park had hand sanitizer stations after you get off the ride and most of them were EMPTY. Bring your own hand sanitizer.

Visited on a weekday, so not many people at the park. Saw a decent amount of animals despite it being winter. Rode every ride, took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, did all the walking trails, and still had 2 hours to spare. Definitely not a full day park. There are also very limited dining options right now because most of the restaurants/stalls are closed due to COVID.

Disney has done the best they can to open the park while balancing the need for social distancing and sanitizing. In person shows like my favorite Disney show, The Lion King, are closed for safety. The rides no longer have single rider lines to fill in empty seats - you stay with your party. During the holidays this led to longer lines that expanded beyond the normal queue areas and onto the walking paths. They have invested a lot into plastic barriers where distancing cannot be accomplished. Hand sanitizer stations are located before and after each ride and along the paths and queues. Queues are marked as reminders for how long to distance between parties. I found that most people respected the distancing between each other. “Face coverings” (masks) must be worn in the parks except when stopped to eat or drink. If you eat or drink while walking, Cast Members will ask you to stop walking while eating or drinking, or to keep your masks on while walking. Failure to wear a face covering and refusing requests/reminders to put one on will get you ejected from the park. The park it still a lot of fun, but I miss the shows!

I believe this might be one of the most underrated parks in the Disney Orlando area. I have been to Disney Orlando many times, and never managed to make it to this particular park. This time I did and it was by far one of the best experiences I have had while at Disney. The Avatar Flight of Passage was by far my favorite ride with The Kilimanjaro Safaris being a close second. Wait times were minimal for both, so we were able to do more than once each during our day.

Total rip off. With Covid limitations over 90 minutes wait everywhere. Disney decided not to really care about Covid 19 by flooding the park with people. Bruingrijs disappointed in Disney for being more concerned about bottom line than about safety of visitors and staff. This probably will become a massive liability law suit for Disney.
