About
In 2012 the iconic boat the African Queen was restored for her 100 year centennial celebration. In May 2012 she once again began plying the waters of Key Largo and currently offers canal and dinner cruises. We go out daily at 10am, 12am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. On Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm we offer a dinner cruise to the Pilot House Marina where passengers disembark and enjoy dinner in the restaurant before boarding the vessel once again to return to the Marina Del Mar. Dinner and lunch cruises are also available on request for groups of at least 4 people.

Fun 🤩 on the water
Sep 2021
What a fun time! Our tour guide is a walking movie star trivia whiz. We were tested on board on Oscar winning stars. Made us think but it was fun. The trip was beautiful going by the mansions on the water and canals. I would recommend this cruise highly.

A Must See when in Key Largo!!!!
Sep 2021
We had so much fun. Captain Eddie was awesome and had pictures, props, film history and boat history along with movie trivia to stump even an avid classic movie fan! If you love classic movies, this is a MUST SEE ATTRACTION! This is the REAL boat. Thankfully the cruise didn't entail any waterfalls or leaches (although that would have been an added bonus, lol). It was a beautiful day out on the water and we were even allowed to steer the boat! We were Bogey and Kate for the day!

Awesome. Great luck being the only couple onboard. Eddie showered us with great trivia from the movie. Great tour of the canals and open water.

The real African Queen for a 90 minute experience!
Sep 2021
If you've enjoyed the movie with Bogart and Hepburn you will love being aboard the actual boat, over 100 years old, used in the movie and looking much as it did then. Our guide, Eddie, was great with stories and trivia about the film as we went through the canals and out to sea for a short distance (easily sea sick, be advised). Eddie helped us with photos and had water aboard. Definitely a trip highlight.

Unexpected Highlight of Our Trip!
Aug 2021
We took this tour on Saturday afternoon and it was perfect. Captain Dave gave us a bunch of history about the boat and the movie it is named after, (even the teenager who hadn't seen the movie was into it) and then we leisurely tooled through the canals out to the Atlantic. It was glorious to see Key Largo through the perspective of the canals, and to do it on this historic vessel.

A great afternoon. Bring cash to tip the captain!

Once in a lifetime chance to experience history
Aug 2021
What a great day trip! Rarely do you get a chance to experience a piece of history like this. The African Queen was commissioned in 1912 and, nearly 110 years later, we can still enjoy it, thanks to the care the present owners have given her. Captain Dave is outstanding -- knowledgeable about the boat, its history and trivia from the movie. And he is, of course, a highly experienced captain.

This is a great experience for all ages. The boat starts in the harbor and circles into the Atlantic Ocean and then back. Highly recommend this for groups -- the boat can hold, I believe, six guests so it is not a crowded ride.
