My family and I found ourselves in Fairplay for an extra day last summer when we came off the Colorado Trail a day early and were waiting for our resupply. Discovered this gem and had the best time! Highly recommend!

Nice place to visit. Very informative. Worth the few dollars if you like Colorado history. Don't expect; Kenny, Cartman, Kyle or any of that sort.

I hadn't been to this museum since I was a kid - but it is honestly fantastic and worth the price of admission. The buildings are fascinating, as are their contents. Will definitely stop by again!

Great place to see what life in the Rockies was like a hundred years ago. Well presented, not overdone, authentic artifacts. Even the kids will like it!

Really great experience going back through time! We spent 2 hours there and it went by very fast. Lots of neat things to look at and history to learn about the area and Colorado's mining and ranching past.
