We used this hike as our first day of altitude acclimatization stroll. It does have a bit of up (if you come up via the dirt road) at the beginning but then it is relatively flat. It has nice views. It was a really good...More

Steep path to lake, not for the elderly or weak of legged. Nice tranquil scenic setting. Quiet place to enjoy to yourself. Sit your chair out and enjoy the waterfall from the parking lot.

This is a very moderate hike (but be prepared for a pretty long , but easy uphill hike to reach the lake itself). Once you reach the lake, it's flat and easy along the shore. Lots of big and beautiful aspen trees everywhere (can't even...More

The trail we took to Meridian Lake was moderate and a beautiful walk. The flowers were impressive and the views of the lake gorgeous.
