My mom got me a gift certificate here for a body scrub and massage which I love. The front desk girl showed me back to the changing room which was very nice with lockers, private showers, comfy robes, and slippers. They also provided a whole range of toiletries you could use as well as hair dryers and curling irons. After you undress and put on your robe and slippers you go to a relaxation area where you are given tea and get to enjoy the water fountain noises and take in the relaxing atmosphere. My masseuse was great unfortunately I don't remember her name. The scrub was wonderful (same girl) and she gave an amazing deep tissue massage that hit all the right knots in me.

Unfortunately (the other 20%) the next-door building was under construction, and the room we were in shared a wall with it. So there was quite a bit of noise and banging coming from that. This would have been an absolutely divine experience had the noise not been an issue. But it is out of the spa's hands and hopefully next time I try them it will be quieter

Thanks to Sara for the treat! I was impressed every aspect of this place. They have a locker room with a shower and sauna. The waiting area has comfortable chairs with water and tea. The message was just amazing. This was a great addition to our vacation.

Earlier this year my wife had a great experience at Avia Spa – she especially thought that Jill did a wonderful job. They seemed to be a professional and reputable business. That’s why we were so surprised when a charge for $400 appeared on our credit card more than 40 days after her visit – for nothing! Everybody makes mistakes, so I tried to get in contact with Spencer, the owner, by phone, email, and personally visiting the spa. It never happened – no explanation, no refund. This has been a huge hassle and I’m surprised that they just don’t care at all about ripping someone off for $400. Makes me wonder how many other people they do this to, and makes me tell you – don’t use a credit card at Avia Spa! They will keep your card number on file, and maybe they will fraudulently charge you also.
