It is a must-see if you don't have a chance to go to Egypt!. The mummy is fascinating and the story is very interesting. It is small, so it is not so overwhelming and the price is reasonable. Learned a lot!

I saw the King Tut exhibit when it came around some years ago, and since then, I love Egyptology. This place has more things from ancient Egypt then any other museum in the Americas. I was there many years ago and noticed that they cater...More

This place is a museum and more. It has a lot of exhibits for a small place but I especially liked the gardens. You really feel like you're in a far off land but you're in the middle of San Jose CA! Great for families.

The collection is not extensive and after a while it gets repetitive. There were no must see objects that would draw people in. It is interesting though, there were lots of children and they seemed to be having fun. It mostly focuses on Egypt. There...More

My husband and I brought our grandson who is 10 to the museum. We went through it and then went to the planetarium as well. It was very interesting. They are very concerned about the children staying with you at all times.

The collection has a few impressive pieces but, the place is a bit run down and kind of creepy. Rosicrucian history is in the spotlight. The gardens are nice. I wouldn't visit again.

This wonderful museum is not the British Museum - it is quite do-able in 2-3 hours depending upon your level of interest. It is quite impressive and ahd gardend and a labyrinth, too.

The museum is kid-friendly. I didn't see anything that would frighten a 5 year old. They have an area with kid-friendly and touchable items. One section has an optional walk-through room section that resembles the inside... More

Probably Caltrain from the City to San Jose and then Uber or a taxi to the museum. You can 'google' Caltrain for the cost, schedule and station locations.
