The trip to the Museum was one of the most interesting place to visit. Three different hangers full of planes as well as out side in the tarmac. Volunteers every where to help and answer questions. We spent 2-3 hours and will be going back...More

If you are interested in airplanes and military history, don't miss the Palm Springs Air Museum. Open daily (except a few holidays), the museum fills several large hangars (89,000 sq. ft.) with exhibits and planes from World War II (main emphasis) through Vietnam. There is...More

Great planes from many eras. Was able to go through the B17 and see what it was like, but my favorite plane is and was the P51 Mustang. Definitely worth going to.

Not on par with the magnificent World War II Museum in New Orleans, but a great chance to spend a day examining historic war birds and their entire history, in an airport setting. Many helpful volunteers answer most every question. A great attraction for something...More

Very good exhibits, including the Flying Fortress. When I was there a year ago they had bi-plane rides (which was amazing!!!) but I don't think they do them anymore. If you are interested in airplanes in any way, this is well-worth the visit!

We visited with teens and my father. The airplanes are great and lots of docents will answer your questions, but go even if you don't care about planes. There are many displays about other things, like insignias, the use of animation in training, USO shows,...More
