This was a beautiful park. We saw seals lounging around on the cliffs. They were friendly and allowed us to take pics of them too. The park was pleasant to walk around or to sit and just view the ocean.

Poor parkin but worth it if you find a parking spot. Beautiful park with plenty of space for picnics and play. And the beach is amazingly clean... not like PB

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at La Jolla Shores. There was a large parking lot, and we were able to find convenient spots. The public facilities were well maintained. The beach itself was wide with soft white sand. There were beautiful views.

The views are amazing and the public areas are well kept and easy to get to. The rocky area is a beautiful area to sit and watch the sea lions. Loved our visit!!

There's plenty of free parking. On the weekends the teenagers are out in large numbers. Fun place to surf. Never been a shark attack in the area. GREAT sandy beach areas between the coves.

The water and beach looked awesome! It was clean, the water was a clear blue colour, a few boarders were in the water and the beach certainly wasn't crowded - being winter. We stayed within walking distance and was good to tip in our Aussie...More

The beach is full of activity, from sun bathers to people walking their dogs to kids building sand castles to people just relaxing, Lots of surfers waiting to catch the perfect wave.

Go early to find a good parking space as this is one of San Diego's favorite beaches. There are lifeguards, bathrooms, grass for the kids to run around on if they choose and of course, a wonderful, clean beach. It is a fabulous place to...More

La Jolla shores was beautiful and we loved watching the seals and sea lions as well as the birds. It has nice walking trails and is kept clean. It was crowded but we still managed to find parking.
