We walked from our hotel to the entrance of the stream which is quite a long walk. There is nearby parking and if you have a car, do drive and park before you start trekking your way into the forested area. The treks into the...More

This place was full when we arrived at 3pm. Although the foot bath was pleasant, the people around us were very noisy and they wet the benches meant for seating. When going for foot onsen, it is best for foreign travellers to always obey onsen...More

There is a carpark near the footpath. If you have paid 500Y at the entry carpark, you can use it again here. The carpark attendant will ask for the yellow ticket stub and will tear off the proliferation portion. The water is from a stream...More

Very nice hot sulphur water foot bath at the end of an hour trek though lovely forest, be seen in Autumn for the changing colours ...Worth the visit to relax those feet. Short walk down the road to Oyunumagaw pond.

Good trek to get to but well worth it at the end with a nice comfortable foot bath. Would take about 15-45 mins walk depending on whether you walk or drive and walk

This naturally heated stream is one of the best experiences I’ve had while hiking in Hokkaido. Treat yourself in the misty forest to a free foot spa! Seat mats are provided but limited so you may have to wait your turn. The stream itself along...More

If you are in Noboribetsu, this would be my number one place to go. A short trek from the town (or drive if you are lazy), you will find a little path that branches out at a sharp bend on the road. A little muddy...More

Did this on a wet and dismal day, so we could have just as easily not done this....but the extra walk was worth the wallowing in the warm water. As to whether it actually has any therapeutic value...who knows, but it was fun, and in...More

Walking along this footpath, there is an area where one can dip his/her feet in natural (very) hot water. Quite fun after a long day of hiking
