Believe the hype, Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is perhaps the loveliest, nicest and most well-regarded winery in all of Russian River Valley wine country in Sonoma. Located off of Fulton Road you used to be able to get to the winery conveniently off of...More

My brother took some friends and I to this winery. When we arrived hardly anyone was there. But soon a party arrived and things got a little loud. Despite this, our server Bill was very attentive and took great care of us. He explained what...More

We love the KJ wines back home including a friend who's a big Chardonnay fan. Great wine pourer--took time to explain the wines and took good care of us. Not the best vineyard view grounds...but the wines were superb!

Of the several wineries we visited, we enjoyed this the least. The place is nice enough, but not as beautiful as Ferrari-Carano and some others. The pourer was pleasant enough, but he didn't encourage us to linger. We were finished tasting in about 30 minutes,...More

I have to admit that going to Kendall-Jackson was not a top priority for me when visiting Sonoma since I wanted to check out the boutique wineries. Boy was I wrong! KJ Estate is gorgeous just to walk around. They grow the herbs used in...More

If you want to do the food and wine pairings, you should have a reservation, but you wouldn't need one for wine tasting only. Be sure to walk around the gardens---the vegetables that the chef uses are organically grown... More
