Moonstone Beach is a must if you are visiting the Cambria area. The boardwalk path offers some spectacular views. We visit Cambria at least once a year and never miss a chance to walk Moonstone while there.

After having Brunch at the Moonstone Grill walked on the wooden Boardwalk that goes along the cliff. Would recommend visiting this quite and peaceful beach!

We love Moonstone Beach! We get to see some ocean animals in a relatively quiet area. We had three days of sunshine and one very fogged in day. The rocks in the area and in the water create a beautiful scene. There is a wooden...More

Such a lovely beach. Sort of rugged in its own way with drift wood logs and trees. A perfect spot to watch the sun set. Lots of parking on the street and broadwalkes on the road side to stroll along. Ther3 are also some benches....More

Moonstone beach is one of my favorite beaches. It has a very peaceful vibe. It's very clean and it's not crowded.

Plenty of wide clean sandy beach to walk, run, explore and search for rocks, shells, "moonstone" and anything the ocean has delivered. There is also a well maintained wooden walkway just above the beach to walk or run. Dogs are welcome. Wonderful sunsets.

It is hard to rate a beach in the middle of the winter...but we came here to see the sunset and we got a beautiful one!

Lovely for taking long walks, observing crashing waves and starry nights. Long boardwalk makes walking easy and very pleasant. Little ground squirrels and birds of all sorts will greet you.

Park near Cambria, climb down the shore side, and settle in for a blast culling rocks. You can sort for colors, sizes, white moonstones, or a mix. You can choose tiny or large, round or flat. WARNING : flies will try to carry you away...More

Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk but not on the beach. There are a few dog-friendly hotels along the drive.
