Awesome walking path/deck. Easy access to the beach. We saw several seals sunning themselves. Windy and a bit chilly in early June but so worth it. Love this place and plan to return very soon.

It's hard to imagine a more beautiful view than this stretch of California's incomparable Central Coast. Walk the boardwalk and feel the world drift away. This is zen city.

On a nice warm day this beach is very nice to go to not to crowded and the sand is as white as snow. Very easy to get to and plenty of parking if you go early.

It is true that you can find moonstones on this beach if you know what to look for, as well as the occasional piece of sea glass, but the wooden boardwalk provides for a lovely stroll. Near the north end are some rock where you...More

Incredible views. Easily accessible boardwalk extends along bluffs above beaches; beaches accessible via trails and some stairways. (Dogs not allowed on beaches though..) Mix of rocky tidepools and sandy beaches.

May is a great time with wildflowers in bloom on the bluffs above Moonstone beach. Is really beautiful and the weather is pretty nice in May.

No camping on Moonstone, but San Simeon State Park (close by) is nice! We scouted it in January.
