We throughly enjoyed the beach. Lots of rocks to hunt moonstones. We found two. Watched surfers. Looked in tide pools on the big rocks. Walked to dinner on the boardwalk at night and was greeted by others doing the same. Felt completely safe since so...More

Been visiting this beach for over 35 yrs. Spent many joyful hours collecting pebbles and building sand castles. Dolphins, seals, and otter can be spotted. Santa Rosa Creek empties in to the ocean there attracting many types of birds. There is a great park with...More

I recently traveled with friends to Cambria and we stayed on Moonstone Beach. Enjoyed walking it's boardwalk!

MB is beautiful and was a great place to enjoy the ocean especially since they've built the boardwalk. But I also worked EMS in this town and no the horrible undertows and currants. I would not recommend going in the water.

We didn't spend all day here, but easily could. A gorgeous beach, perfect for a picnic. A must see if you are driving along the coast.

Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk but not on the beach. There are a few dog-friendly hotels along the drive.
