My husband and I recently went on the private 3-hr Inside Petra tour with Ahmed and had the most incredible time. First off, the adventure itself is amazing— you’re taken up the back route to a viewpoint overlooking the Treasury, away from the crowds, and stepping out onto that ledge is an unforgettable moment.
But most of all, Ahmed is an AMAZING guide. He’s very patient and funny, and he will absolutely take care of you even on some of the tricky rock scrambles. He’s also a total photo pro and will climb to some wild heights to get the perfect shot. Seriously, if there is one singular reason to take this tour, it is Ahmed. He goes above and beyond, and he will make your trip memorable, guaranteed. By the end of the trip, you will feel like you’ve just made a new friend. 10/10, would absolutely do this again.
