About
We are artists and graphic designers and we love to make beautiful things with our hands. We design and manufacture wood toys and art products from sustainable Icelandic forests. The wood scrap we collect, we use in jewelry and sculptures. We make natural and artistic crafts inspired by our Icelandic heritage. We work in wood, bones, glass, stones, iron and found objects which we find a new role for. We also work with more expensive metals such as silver and gold. Things we make have often a certain meaning or connection with the nature and its power. We don't have regular opening hours over the wintertime but we will open again in the springtime.

We came across this when driving down for some white water rafting near Gulfoss. Very glad we spotted it! The group I was with ended up purchases several items. The gifts were truly unique and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely stop by if you're in the area, you will not regret it!

Most sincere gift shop I’ve seen in Iceland.
Not touristic and very nice wooden toys and jewelry. Not your every day giftshop.

We found Nine Worlds by simply driving past, and we made it a point to stop in before heading back home. So glad we did. The store/shop is a converted barn, and it's as charming as it gets. The owners are wonderful. Their store, their workshop, and their wares are outstanding. Gotta LOVE the toy cars and the carved animals! We found gifts for ourselves, and for many friends back home.

Nestled in the middle of a farm on the slope of a mountain, we quite literally put the car in reverse to return to this shop. Unassuming from the outside, the quaint Arts & Crafts store did not disappoint on the inside. The jewelry, toys & other items are made in the back of the shop from sustainable and repurposed Icelandic natural materials. They’re so popular that the tractor toy even sold out! Definitely worth a quick stop. There’s even coffee in case their excellent craftsmanship isn’t a big enough pick-me-up 😉

Don’t miss this awesome road side farm artisan shop...on the way to the Geysir and Gullfoss falls...Augusta and Ari were so welcoming and fun, we pulled up on a whim on a holiday Monday seeing their roadside sign and were so pleasantly surprised to find such beautiful work. Gorgeous carvings, hand wrought jewellery , beautiful Icelandic sheep skins from the neighbouring farm all in a lovely well curated shop. Do yourself a favour and stop to buy directly from these local artists and then happily skip all the tourist traps at the Golden Circle attractions.

I went there yesterday with my boyfriend and bought few homemade jewelleries and toys (with milk paint please! All natural and safe for kids!). My boyfriend is Icelandic and I’m french so he decided to bring me to an authentic place with homemade and handmade works to have good memories and not made in China ;)
We had a nice chat with the owner (he owns the place with his wife and you can actually see the workshop!) He even read my future with the old anciens stones vikings runes .... great experience!
