Beautiful castle dated XIII century, in the following century with the change of the regents of Lordship from Visconti to Sforza it changed in summer residence as can we see today. After Sforza the castle passed to family Bolognini, the last heir transformed the castle into Morando Bolognini Foundation. Three museums can be visit in its interior: Museum Morando Bolognini where you can see the original furnishings with wonderful library and armory. Museum of bread, origins and used cereals, how to do it, type of Italian bread . Museum of historic Lombardia’s agriculture, the museum covers 1000 years of history and evolution of agriculture.

We used an english translation headset which helped interpret the information as we walked around this well preserved castle. The bread museum, showing breads made in every region throughout Italy was the a well researched display.
