On a usual Thursday in October the majority of shoppes/Galleries were closed at 11 am. Strange. Perhaps this is a weekend activity? The few galleries that were open were nice and the proprietors friendly.

We enjoyed walking through this district - particularly admiring the statues and galleries. Pleasant evening stroll in the heat of summer.

I have been here before but I don't remember it being so nice. Walk at night when the lights are on, it is very pretty.

Worth a visit....great little art shops and galleries. Free hop on/off tram to get around. The Montauk is a fab place to have lunch.

It's hard to beat a trip to the Main Street Arts District, whether you are visiting Scottsdale or (like me) a full time resident. There are plenty of different dining options, lots of shopping opportunities, horse drawn carriages and pedi-cabs, and plenty of convenient parking.

There is an art walk along Main on Thursday nights (not so in the hotter summer months). Most of the galleries are open there, in addition to restaurants and bars.
