Recently visited the Cosanti house. As we walked into the gift shop the employee that was there just glared at us, no hi or welcome to...we were ignored!! Most of the areas were closed due to maintenance updates. The bells were cool to see. Would...More

Well, this is an interesting stop, but don't expect too much. They offer a tour in the AM for either 10- 15$ which we didn't take, but the place is pretty strange and worth a quick visit. The buildings are really interesting and it would...More

This site serves as the foundry, the visitor center and the shop for incredible wind sculptures. If you read about the foundation and the work that they do before going to the location, it makes owning one of their bells or wind chimes that much...More

Cosanti Originals was a most unusual stop while I was visiting Phoenix in late February. I had heard that the windbells were very unusual and that Paolo Soleri was a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright. So I thought the windbells would be more along the...More

A remarkable place, built on the vision of a remarkable man: Paolo Soleri. Self-guided - children will love it as well as it has a kind of Hobbit feel in places. Hard to imgaine now what it was like when it was miles out from...More

Fascinating historical site of Frank Lloyd Wright student Cosanti’s architectural philosophy, as well as the famous Solari wind chimes. While interesting, there’s not much to see without taking a paid tour.

We were interested to come here to round out the Paolo Soleri experience, as we have stayed at Arcosanti and knew about Soleri's connection to Frank Lloyd Wright. We even met Soleri and sat in on a book discussion with him. The gallery area is...More

If you are in Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, this is a must stop to see how this incredible man, who studies under Frank Lloyd Wright, has made these bells. There are also the ceramic Somers bells. A must for every home.

Include this foundary on your Scottsdale tour plans. Great old world craftsmanship and intersting expereince to see how these iconic bells are made. Allow 30-45 minut4es - you can make this a short stop and still learn enough.

This is a very quaint place to visit while visiting Scottsdale. I loved just wandering around among all the bells and chimes. Each one is unique and there are soooo many. The place itself is very reminiscent of something out of the Hobbit with the...More
