Fun time swinging in the safe swing over the beautiful mountain! Also includes a small zipline; great for family and those young at heart adults!

In addition to the swing, this place has a great garden and spectacular vistas. You get all this for only one (1) dollar, a bargain.

I’m the first to scoff at anything sounding gimmicky or tourist-trap-ish. I read a few blogs before coming about this place and the general impression was - “Go, take a few pics for your IG and that’s it.” But after visiting La Casa del Arbol this afternoon, I can share my own thoughts on this.

Casa del Arbol is at the end of a long-ish bus ride up the mountain from Baños, but it was just $1 for the bus and another dollar to enter. (There are several stops along the way for other well-publicized attractions, but keep going.) The views are spectacular. You really are at the top of the world. The pull for this place are the giant swings, which were a lot of fun, but there was more. I was delighted with the beautifully-kept gardens with so many colorful flowers, attracting hummingbirds.

There’s a small cafe to have a snack while taking in the views and then… there is a small zip line. If you have kids, it’s a great place to introduce them to a zip line, enjoy the pretty flowers, swing to their heart’s delight, and climb the tree house. Yes, I got my IG pics and videos, but it was more than that. It’s a beautiful garden at the top of the world that you will be glad you visited. (The bus ride down is much faster than the way up.)

Loved visiting the Casa del Arbol- there are beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of Banos. The swings are not the "extreme" style that are available at other spots but there are multiple swings, you can go on as many times as you want, and there are small zip lines and of course, the tree house.

I loved it! I could've stayed here all day. I didnt like the trail going up to the location but once I got up there, I enjoyed it. You're high up but it's not scary. The guy with the swing was very nice and supporting (because I was very afraid lol). They also have smaller swings and a cute little zipline for kids. I loved all of the picture places located around the establishment,

Definitely touristy, but felt it was well worth the effort to come here. The swings were a lot of fun but what blew me away were the views from the top. It was stunning to see the rain clouds rolling through the valley below with the sunset on the horizon. Quite magical.

I think every person's experience can vary, and I can see how this place can be a let down, especially depending on the day. Nevertheless, I had a great time and managed to get some awesome photos!

From Banos, you can hike up, take a taxi or take a bus. The hike is steep and around 800 meters vertically from Banos. The bus only goes three times a day but only costs a dollar. There is a $2.00 entrance fee to Casa del Arbol. The views are spectacular. There are four swings, a short, double zipline and some gardens. There is also a quiosk to buy drinks and a little food. One of the swings has an employee who will push you higher and twist you for an additional thrill. The treehouse is two stories to give you an even higher view of the spectacular valley.

I visited a very nice place called Baños, which is a lot yes, but the weather feels nice, the local people who live there are nice and very charismatic, I always recommend it to visit, I would visit it thousands of times, just what is nice What is the climate and its tourist places.
