Homer Axe House is your premier, indoor axe throwing venue in the Homer, AK area. In fact, we are the first and only indoor axe throwing venue on the Kenai Peninsula. Located just off the Homer Spit, we are perfectly situated to incorporate axe throwing into your entertainment plans. As a Bring Your Own Food establishment, we encourage you to stop by your favorite restaurant and bring your meal to Homer Axe House for an hour or two of fun. With seven lanes, we're a great place to host date night, family night, parties or celebrations. Come see us today!

Homer axe house is fun and family friendly. We have brought our 12 year old several times and he loves it here! Even asked that we buy him his own ask for Christmas so he could throw it (and we did, and he’s having a blast).

As locals to Homer we were First time axe throwers!! We had a great time! The staff demonstrated how to throw the axe (several different ways) and gave hints throughout the evening on how to get the axe to “stick” or what we might be doing wrong. We were able to play several fun games in the hour we were there. The environment is clean and inviting, we brought in pizza to snack on … We definitely will be back for more axe throwing fun!!

We were in Homer for a wedding and while some of our party was attending the wedding the rest of us decided to throw axes. It was a great time and the staff was very informative. I have to admit I was the first person to throw an axe over the back wall. They were pretty cool with it and we all laughed. I highly recommend the Homer Axe House!!!

We were visiting Homer and noticed this place. It was totally awesome!! I’ve never thrown before but they coached me and by the end I was actually hitting the target. My 11-year-old daughter loved it as well.

There are plenty of outdoor activities in Homer but when the weather is poor there are far fewer indoor activities to keep you entertained.
Opened in May 2022, this venue offers a very different indoor pastime beyond the usual art galleries and craft stores. Having come to Homer to be active, there are only so many artisan walrus sculptures you can view before you want to pick up an axe and channel your inner Viking (Europe) or lumber-jack fantasy (North America…..or Monty Python fans).
The Axe House provides a fun and safe indoor experience without a walrus sculpture in sight……not even to throw an axe at.
Several throwing lanes that can be booked online or in person, in 1 hour slots or longer. Great one to one tuition on ‘how to throw an axe’ and the range of games available for those participating.
A very different and enjoyable afternoon.

Loved our family Axe throwing experience! My 15 year old son really enjoyed everything about it. Electronic targets made it a continuously new experience. The owner was very service-oriented and personable. Highly recommend it for a fun afternoon.

Great fun for couples or friends. Staff are very helpful with instructions on throwing hatchet. The target choices are great!

A brilliant afternoon’s activity for the family. The owner and our axe coach were super helpful and friendly - their great coaching meant everyone in the family was able to hit a target and even the more nervous quickly got comfortable axe throwing! The fun set up projects different types of targets so our kids could enjoy throwing axes at zombies. Highly recommended!

The staff was very helpful, as they showed us how to throw axes since this was our first time. I went with a friend of mine and we had a great time, lots of fun and fairly priced, would recommend stopping by!
