Great hike and nice falls. There is not much parking (you are parking at the end of a dead end road). The trails are very muddy and get slick.

Did not know what to expect having read about this place elsewhere only that it would be a great hike. It’s in an unassuming residential location but once you enter it’s a great forest and on an amazing river with lots of waterfalls so it looks and sounds beautiful! Every corner we were so amazed at what we were seeing we didn’t want to leave. Steep inclines in some spots but we saw children and pets there who were able to manage the climb.

The hike is great and short. The falls are nice. The speed limit down the road is 20 mph though the residents would want you going even slower (I was going 15 mph and was asked to slow down)

There is more than one set of falls on this hike if you are up for the challenge of getting to the upper ones. The first site are just a short hike in, but you can keep going on the trail and see even more rapids and cascades. The first bit is pretty easy and gets just a bit muddy with roots to watch out for at the first falls. This should be accessible to most people. From there it has a lot of roots, gets steeper and slipperier, and is still great. The effort is well rewarded by the falls. Just make sure you are prepared if you keep going as it is quite a bit more challenging. Rain makes it quite a bit more exciting.

Short little walk, lots of tree roots, so tennis shoes recommended. Once you arrive in like 7 minutes, you get a beautiful view of the falls, totally worth it.
