The roundhouse is predominantly a shop these days, but the board walk around the outside and the accompanying photos are well worth the stop. It's at the end of a covered walkway when you exit the tram so it's not difficult to get there.

Take the tram up to this restaurant at the Alyeska resort. You won’t be disappointed. You see forever..... I felt as if we were on top of the world. And the food was delicious and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended

The view from the roundhouse is amazing. The souvenirs are very typical (nothing special). Some artifacts and info make it an interesting stop.

This is a very small gift store and museum that I would not consider to be a destination. There is interesting information about the area, avalanches and ski team. There is a looping video please on a couple of small tv screens and a diarama of the area in the center. You can walk completely around the outside and enjoy the amazing views. There are also gifts to purchase but we were at the end of the season and they weren’t really well stocked. Definitely worth a look if you find yourself at the top of Mt Alyeska.
