It’s not easy being a ski resort during a pandemic. It’s darn difficult. Yet, Alyeska is doing a great job. From policing lift lines to threatening to throw people off the tram who refuse to mask up, it’s not easy. But, they are doing the right thing. And they are OPEN. And the runs are great. And they’ve figured out how to serve food outside. Well done. Now, please put more signs on the mountain to mark different runs, please :)…

I enjoyed breathing fresh air as I huffed and puffed my way up the trail. The North Face hiking trail helped me burn calories and fat.

Skin's here for 4 days in late January and thoroughly enjoyed the mountain. Views of the Ocean and surrounding peaks are certainly "picture worthy". Be absolutely sure you include a dinner at the top of the Tram, at least once. Great food, service, ambience and view. We had a fabulous night of food, wine and excellent service. Not to be missed in my view…
