Charles is amazing person and he really knows what he is doing! I really appreciate how helpful he was. We had an incredible time in Costa Rica thank to him and amazing drivers, especially Raúl. Charles always replied to my messages even in the night! And he was always on time! He also created great atmosphere in van, he arranged everything before the journey and he helped with all unexpected situations. Thank you is not even enought for all his help. We can't wait for next adventure!

Deciding to do transportation with this company is the best decision of our Costa Rican trip. The roads are a bit rough and windy, so we are very thankful we did not rent a car. It also gave us the freedom to sightsee as we had three pretty long trips, and we got to see so many amazing views and wildlife. Each ride comes with water and beer! The vans were extremely clean, great AC, and comfortable! The drivers were safe and will stop at sights for you to see if wanted. For all of that, the price is very reasonable and so worth it! Issac, JP, and Michael were so knowledgeable on their country and passionate about educating us on facts and information about Costa Rica. This really made a difference in our trip and stood out tremendously to us. JP was our driver for our longest trip and he was so accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly. I could not say enough good things about him… seriously a great guy all around! Michael was our last driver back to the airport and he was very accommodating as well. I did get a bit carsick due to the windy roads and he was helpful and kind letting me stop as needed to get some air. My boyfriend enjoyed their conversation (while I slept lol) as he was very knowledgeable and easy to converse with! Thank you so so much to your amazing drivers, they provided more than just transportation and we had the best experience because of them! For our next trip to Costa Rica, we will definitely be using this company, no doubt about it!

I had an amazing pleasure working with Evelyn, Charles and Pablo. Review for each and overall as followed.
Evelyn is the Reservation Manager and was first point of contact. She moved fast and accordingly, she answered every question. She was also very knowledgeable and was able to get me booked in no time. She was also able to provide me with specific discounts they provided for solo travelers and groups. After getting Evelyn with all information needed she was then able to book and introduce me to Charles.
Charles is the Transport Manager and second point of contact. He was able to confirm and provided me with more information about my transportation to and from Costa Rica. He made himself very available via text/call on WhatsApp. While providing updates closer to date and upon arrival for pickup. All things that came with such great service and price.
I was so worried that because I waited until the week off to book transportation that it was going to be super high and/or long wait time if not already sold out. I flew into LIR airport and booked stay in La Fortuna. Which is a few hours drive away. I had the most absolute pleasure of getting Pablo as my driver introduced to me via update from Charles prior to arrival.
Pablo! Was my driver. I’ll like to start off by saying he was on time both times. Which was both 6am pickups to and from the airport because of the travel times. He made the experience to be honest. At arrival he was outside to greet me with a company sign with my name on it. After he grabbed my bags introduced himself and was off to the shuttle van. Shuttle van was clean, with ac, Wi-Fi, water and snacks! I was offered front or back seat and opt in for front. Which was the BEST Decision. After he confirmed my drop off location we was off into the beautiful sunrise. We stop for photos, breakfast, sightseeing, ect. I highly suggest taking full advantage of the ride especially if you arrive early and check-in late. Pablo will always give you options and always ask for permission. To speak on Pablo character and mannerisms I’ll say this. As a single woman coming into a country for the first time solo. Pablo made me very comfortable, respected, and protected. Pablo was beyond a pleasure, he do speak English and will translate for you all while giving you all of the local knowledge upfront and personal. Also great suggestion on what to do with pictures. I am super appreciative of the entire experience and honored to have booked with TheBaqueano and can’t wait to book again.

My group and I had the most incredible experience with Baqueno transport. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. Our van was very clean, comfortable and pristine. Our Driver “JP” Juan Pablo is amazing. He was an excellent tour guide during our drive back and forth! I will be using these folks again and JP is our guy!!

The Baqueano are life savers. After missing our flight from Guatemala to Panamá City and the first leg of our cruise. They truly came to our rescue in Costa Rica.
I had reached out to them to get us from Sam Jose to Limón to catch up with our cruise ship. We had booked a flight to Sam Jose the next morning. They got back to us immediately and made the booking process really simple. Even making suggestions on places to stay in Limón and places to visit.
Their driver Rafeal was at the airport when we got there. He would tell you his English was not good but he did incredibly well and with the help of Google translate showed us the sights of Costa Rica. He was simply amazing and honestly on a trip that had gone horribly wrong, set us on track to have a great experience. He got us to Limón and helped get us to our hotel. Even doing some translation work for us there.
If you are ever in Costa Rica and need a car service for the day or to get to a destinations there could be no one better. They truly saved our vacation.
