I love this beach, the waters are warm, shallow and family friendly. There are several beachfront restaurants and many water activities. Not too touristy with a local feel. The roads are paved and an easy drive. The Samara Info Center was very helpful too.

Lovely beach, with views of the island, you can seat and watch the surfers 🏄, or just lap up the sun

We drove down from Potrero and the drive was fun. When we arrive we headed to the beach for sunset and dinner. The waves were crashing and we watched the surfers till it grew dark and they came in. Then we stopped for dinner and...More

Really nice location right on beach. Great little villas. All inclusive isn't actually all inclusive as it restricts some of the meals as o wouldn't have got it if we had known. Feeling ripped. The service is crap for food and drinks. Most of the...More

The beach is nice, not too crowded. Chill waves if you want to learn how to surf. It has some nice places to ear. The only u fortunate thing was that the water was really cloudy so snorkeling was not an option. Find a boat...More

Beautiful beach. U can rent surf boards but the surf was no good. This is pretty much all we can say about it.

We thoroughly enjoyed a week at Playa Samara with our 9 year old in July/August. It is a great uncrowded beach to swim, jump waves, learn how to surf, build sandcastles, and relax. There is an abundance of places to eat and drink as well!

Although there are a lot of tourists in Samara, many of the locals don't talk English so it's local enough that a little Spanish is a big help!

Exploring the coast line, we came upon Samara Beach. Fun little beach town with small hotels and local restaurants. A day visit turned into 2 as we decided to stay the night.

It isn't really a party town. More family oriented with primarily restaurants, not pubs so much.

We used Samara Adventure Co for a dolphin/snorkelling tour. It was excellent. The Samara Info Center has many more activities to do in and around Samara. Enjoy!
