Wonderful little gallery with great art by local artists. My wife and I purchased a nice piece and had it shipped. This was originally a poor review but I am not modifying the review. We purchased the art during our trip and was told we would receive an email with tracking and would see the painting days after our return home. Instead there was no email and no painting for 3 weeks. We had assumed we were duped and wasted $800. Alas the painting eventually arrived. Our worry would have been prevented had we been able to contact them which isn't possible (their phone does't work and no email is given) and/or had we been told it would take several weeks or an email sent. Thus while we loved this little gallery, I would suggest being careful and at least having a conversation with the staff if having art shipped. Get their contact information and have a way to contact them after your purchase.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this shop and purchased 2 original pieces of art to be shipped. Spoke with the husband of one of the artists in the gallery who was going to have the pieces shipped for February arrival. Have received no communication and have been unable to contact them-website link goes a site in an Asian language and the phone number sounds like a fax. Rating is one star because we cannot reach them.

Ended up purchasing several pieces at this gallery. We worked with a very friendly and professional young man. I think his name was Andres. I will definitely be returning to this gallery next time I'm in CR.

Nice mix of traditional and modern original artwork (they have 7 different artists works). We bought several pieces including an amazing painted wooden monkey (all in a tiny space). They also had some lovely jewelry. Highly recommend a visit.

This small store has a great range of work from different artists. And often the gallery owners themselves present. We bought a large classic original and they kindly removed it from its timber and rolled it for travel.

This small gallery is home to about seven artists works...not tourist art, but real artists with incredible talent. A must visit, and take money!

The first two times I stopped by, the gallery was closed. I gazed in the window at the beautiful art, determined to return. I finagled a time to dart downtown, and found the gallery open. Yay! I wound up buying several pieces, which Florencia arranged to ship to me in the U.S. I couldn't believe how quickly and safely they arrived! While there, I took a few photos of pieces that I really liked, but wanted to think about. Well, I'm going to shoot her an email and see if they're still available. I especially love her ink on white wood in deep shadow box frames. Just a wonderful gallery. Definitely worth a visit!

I like to buy arts from places I visit. It's a small shop facing the side if the church. Very interesting work, including naive art. One of the artists on exhibition is also one of the owners. This is a highly recommendable gallery if you are lookibg for a real piece of art.

Where is our painting? We purchased the Tucan painting on 3/19. you said you would send us a tracking number and ship out on or around 3/22. We have heard nothing from you nor seen the painting. Its been 2 1/2 weeks.
