Very well organized tour which gives a nice view about the city of Shanghai. The local food we got was delicious and the guide was very professional and well organized which speaks fluent English.
Highly reccomanded and will definitly do it again!

Fantastic experience!!

We had a wonderful experience with Charlie yesterday! While in town on business we wanted to see some of Shanghai and I'm so glad we found Culture Shock Tours. We covered alot of ground and Charlies was a pleasure to spend the morning with, sharing lots of history of Shanghai. Shanghai is a very bike friendly city and we felt completely safe biking on the city roads. The food stop towards the end of our tour was delicious!

For those interested we biked approx 12km over 4-5 hours with many stops. Mostly flat riding so easy to do, even if you are not used to riding a bike often. The bikes themselves were very comfortable.

I will be recommending to all my friends who visit in Shanghai - an excellent morning! Hope to return and do the bike and brunch tour next time. Thank you so much!

The best venue to taste the flavor of Shanghai.

My wife went on a half day adventure with Q. His grasp on the culture and history was truly amazing. We cover a large swath of Shanghai from the French quarters to Buddhist temples. We were also treated to a classic Shanghai noodle and dumpling dish. I was unsure about the directions to the meeting place but Charlie was very instructive and clear regarding how to get there. She decrease the angst and was very reassuring. Two thumbs up, and can't wait to see you guys in our next trip to Shanghai.

Great tour! Q was amazing.

Q was amazing! Patient and kind and so well prepared. We had the best time. The places we visited were interesting and different too, and Q had a lot of interesting details to share. The food at the end was delicious. Great intro to Shanghai! Couldn’t believe we were cycling in the Wild West of Shanghai roads- felt very safe with Q leading us.

One of the highlights of my holiday

Q is such a nice guy, he became a genuine friend. Perfect English and French speaker. I was in Shanghai for a week prior to doing the tour, I regret not doing the tour earlier because I enjoyed it so much and heard so much on the tour about Chinese culture.

Great Experience
Great and interesting bicycle tour. Our guide Q gave us a lot of background information, the locations we visited very very interesting (some of them we would never have found by our own). Perfect recommendation for people who want to get more knowledge about the city in a very close way to the locals.

Exciting bicycle tour

Very interesting bicycle tour! I think it’s the best way to become familiar with Shanghai if you visit it for the first time. It’s really great alternative option to bus tour. During this bicycle tour, you can feel a part of the city, enjoy the city sight views outdoors , and learn its historical and cultural background from amazing tour lead Q! Many thanks for such great experience :)
P.S. The heavy plus to the Chinese-cultural-shock team is for option to pay via various payment type (visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Alipay, cash), fast confirmation and advanced support.

We did the bike and Brunch Tour with culture shock and it was super nice and a great experience. Thanks to them we discovered delicious local food and hidden places!! I can highly recommend to do the tour!!

It was a fun trip, I liked that we also stopped at one of the beautiful villas in the former French concession and had a little bit of history. The guides were super flexible, since a part of our group had to finish a bit earlier so one of the two guides helped them to return their bikes and leave on time. Overall a great experience.
