Even during the winter the park had a stark beauty and was probably much quieter than when the weather is better. There were some flowers blooming and people relaxing, exercising, meditating and playing instruments. The sculpture are nothing remarkable but most are quite attractive and add some talking points. Placement of trees block out most views and sounds of the bustling city around it. Nice just to go and chill out.

Lovely location to spend an hour or so at. The park has well groomed grounds, interesting pieces of sculpture, nice location and worth the time. Easily accessible. Word to the wise - avoid holidays and possibly weekends if you can help it, but if not still go. Be aware visitors do not always follow rules about staying off grass so you may hear lots of whistles. Enjoy the green space & the views on a bench & off the grass.....do go. If you only had 24 hours in the city, spend 30 minutes here.

I live just in front of the park and go there everyday to my work or at night when i take my dog (around the park, the park itself does not allow dogs) - it is really one of the most beautiful and nurtured parks in Shanghai - its relatively small and can be strolled by in less than 20 minutes, there are many sculptures scattered around the park and always children playing around and adults just enjoying the day or signing opera on the roads - the natural history museum (station and location) are at the heart of the park which draw alot of people to the square but i would recommend to visit it multiple times, especially around 18:00 when the water fountains light up and are in sync with some music - its very nice.. enjoy it

This park in the city is not big but it has pretty flowers and sculptures. Best time now to view the cherry blossoms and tulips. Peach and plum blossoms season are just about over. Admission is free.

This park is brilliant, there are lots of large scale sculptures on display and recently they have added a large museum type building beside it, so looking forward to seeing this when it opens.
Very good place to spent a couple of hours away from the mayhem.

Love visiting this Park and seeing the long term sculptures, as well as current exhibitions. It’s always worth a stroll through the Park.

This is a nice green park beside the Shanghai Natural History Museum. Be aware that the sculptures change over time so if you've seen pictures of the sculptures online, they might not be on display when you visit.

Loved this little park that's tucked into the city of Shanghai. Beautiful landscaping & unique sculptures. There's also a little cafe there. Locals were there doing yoga & dancing. Kids played in the park. Men playing mahjong as well. I spent about an hour here. Got some gorgeous photographs!

Cute little park with large sculptures throughout. As is standard practice in Shanghai, it is not permitted to walk on the grass. (So not an ideal picnic spot.) Still, it's conveniently located in the city center, clean and modern, has restrooms - all in all a pleasant place to swing through.
