We took the metro to Lujiazui station and walked around this area This is a green oasis surrounded by many skyscrapers. Nice, refreshing respite from all the tall buildings.

Its a great place to get away from the city or shopping. Walking around the park will give you a very different viewpoint for the skyscrapers and provide some fresh air.

Peace in the heart of the city: Greenery in the midst of Skyscrapers is complemented by water bodies, sculptures and cultural places. The place is well maintained, free from crowd, and is quiet & peaceful.

Shanghai does parks very well. I was at Lujiazui park in March when the cherry blossoms were blooming. Sculptures, water features, skylines, flowers - this park is beautiful for a half hour visit. We noticed this park from the 88th floor of the Jin Mao tower. It inspired us to find our way to see this park in person.

Line 2 of the metro and a short walk will bring you to the Central Greenland. From the park, I admired the buildings. After sighting the bund, the next day, cross over the Huangpu river, Liujiazui.
Admired the new skyline of the modern Shanghai. The beautiful design, amongst the tallest ranking.
Up on the wide pedestrian overhead bridge, it links the major buildings.

The central Greenland is simply awesome...an oasis in the middle of the financial district...amidst dazzling architecture....a must-visit on a trip to Shanghai...

After a two year stay in Shanghai, I can highly recommend this park in the middle of the financial center of Shanghai close to the metro station Lujiazui 陆家嘴. I'm not quite sure how some people can rate this park as not interesting for tourists but if you take 30 minutes of your day, sit down on one of the benches and listen to the sound of Shanghai, you can really feel what Shanghai has to offer. Downtown is always crowded and busy, while this park is just the opposite - less people, super peaceful and quiet. You'll be disappointed if you search for any action in this quiet place but if you want to come down in a city with a population of roundabout 20 million people, enjoy the silence while the sun sets between the skyscrapers which surround you. To me, it's one of the best modern parks in Shanghai.

Lujiazui Central Greenland is a average size green-space with flowers, trees, and a pond in the middle of Lujiazui's skyscrapers. If you are tired of walking around the Pearl Tower and want to sit and rest, it's nice. Perhaps you like to feed the big goldfish or people watch or run around on the paths. Inside is a snack shack and restrooms. On the west side entrance is access to the elevated pedestrian walkway.

Summary: Literally, a small patch of green among all the tall buildings. While it adds character to the overall look and feel of the area, this is really not a destination in its own right.
