This is a very nice little park in the bustling city of Shanghai. Lots of interesting areas to explore in a fairly small park. The paths are quite meandering. There is a map at each of the entrances, which helps for navigation. When it was...More

We walked through here to find a short cut to Nanjing pedestrian street. We saw heaps of umbrellas opened up in this park with writing on pieces of paper. I didn't know what was happening. I later found out that it's like a match making...More

Very nice and quiet park in the middle of the city. Very relaxing with a big pond in the middle full of koii carpe. A square of green in the middle of the city.

This is a really nice park, with couple kiddos attractions inside (merry-go-round etc). The most entertaining thing is marriage market, crazy knowing that this tradition of match-making is still so popular in China. Try your luck and may be one of the parents will offer...More

I was there only once with my family. - It was a very hot summer day and it is a great spot to cool down and escape the tumult of the city for a few moments

Large free park in the middle of People Square area. Beautiful park lots of paths, ponds, and shade. No food options we are at Yangs nearby. Little amusement area for kids which was pricy but they had a blast.

In a much quieter version. East Nanjing street touches the park, it is one of the craziest street in Shanghai and this park is so quiet and feels so unpolluted that it is interesting to have them side by side. On weekends the marriage market...More

This place is just North of People's Square and features one of the most "unusual markets" I have ever seen. On weekend's parents "market" their daughters and sons to other parents in the hope of finding a "match" so they can marry. Not that the...More
