I went to a tour with Jim and this was a great experience. We visited 5 very different places from very authentic local little noodle place to more “typical” restaurants and tried noodles, dumplings, local brew and spirits, deserts, pork, tea room, and many more stuff:) and in between, while walking we had great conversations about all kind of topics about different countries, generations, cultures, business and much more. Jim is very knowledgeable and felt more like a friend then a tour guide. Thank you and much recommended!

If you are in Shanghai, you need to arrange a tour with Jim. He is a native Shanghai resident which provides a very good glimpse into the old and new Shanghai. He leveraged his local dialect to take us into areas / restaurants that cater to local Shanghai communities. Jim’s tour topped the other Shanghai food tour that I have done. Fantastic English skills and great conversationalist. Highly recommend. Family: parents and kids (14yrs and 10yrs). We arranged directly via WeChat.

Booked last minute and took the tour the next day. Jim was great guide. We visited many authentic places I would have never found on my own. Best soup dumpling ever and a really interesting curry soup to start the day. He even customized a stop based on our discussion. Highly recommended!
