The place has been created like a giant concrete oven. Nowhere near enough tree cover or cover at all when walking around. Floor is bursting hot even when it’s just a quick walk back to where you left your flip flops.
You should make it clear before entering the weight limits for kids on rides. I paid the same for my son and daughter but my son couldn’t go on any of the big slides on his own as he was 4kg too light. On the website he’s tall enough to go on all rides with no mention of weight and so turned up very excited to be let down once he got to the first slide. Would have been good to know before paying!
You can’t leave and come back in even after paying 5000 dinars and right now in this heat the kids needed a break indoors. What’s the point of giving wrist bands if they’re of no use to get back in?
The kids supervising the slides don’t seem to care or have had zero training and twice I was sent down a slide with my son and ran into someone else in the middle who then gave us abuse for us coming down!
It’s a real shame as this could be a brilliant place for the families.

The water temperature is very pleasant, that's the only thing I can't fault. The slides are fabulous, you should definitely try all of them, but the way to the top is not easy for older people as there are up to 100 steps and you have to carry a large slide tire up. What I also noticed is that the lifeguards and the employees in general at Akva Park are very young people who are not trained to communicate with visitors, for example the lifeguards are on their mobile phones and watch some series, are drunk in the afternoon and ignore the visitors at the slides when they can go down because they are deep in conversation with someone, even make themselves comfortable at work and sleep and the slides are not all open at 12.00 only 2 of the 5 large slides are opened and the queue at the slides is very long in the late afternoon around 3.00 p.m., 3.30 p.m. the remaining slides are opened, it seemed to me that the employees there like it as little as possible to work. The staff also do not recommend what they have on offer but say it's all on the menu. Unfortunately I did not know that I could have a scoop of ice cream on top of the waffles they had on offer and none of the employees there are smiling either. Someone who works in Akva Park should know that visitors should be entertained from opening time to closing time. Since they also have a foam cannon there, they only ran it with foam once and the waves are rarely switched on. I think it's a shame that they do not make more of an effort to attract more visitors as the prices of the drinks and food are also relatively high. Nevertheless, I will visit Akva Park again with my family in the hope that improvements have been made because it could become a very interesting place.
