About
We're a local, small-scale chocolate company in Roatan, Honduras, founded in 2010. Our primary mission is to create the finest chocolate in Central America, and obviously THE WORLD!, while also giving back to the local indigenous communities and protect the rainforest where our cacao comes from. Our main location, on West End, Roatan is the home of our factory, bakery and our coffeeshop. We also have two small chocolate kiosks in Roatan, one on each of the cruise ports. Visit us to learn more about our rare cacao beans, protecting the rainforest, the chocolate making process, the health benefits of cacao, the birth of chocolate and of course to try our delicious jaguar friendly chocolate.

A highlight of my trip to Roatan!
Upon my recent travel to Roatan I stopped to tour this beautiful establishment. All of the chocolates are handmade right there with locally sourced ingredients - the smell is amazing, the staff is wonderful, the rescue kitty who hangs out there is so cute and the chocolate is to die for!! I strongly urge you to stop by the Factory while in West End, take a tour and snack on some of the best treats you’ve ever eaten - my visit there was truly one of the highlights of my trip!

    Double Dipping in Roatan
Wow! As like everyone on the west end, the staff was welcoming, friendly & helpful. Since my wife & I are dark chocolate fans, it was great to be able to sample their varieties. Best of all, you get to see a show at no charge. They'll show you how the chocolate is processed into bars. Great staff & awesome bakery treats too!

The best chocolate bar I ever had!
The Chocolate factory tour was my favorite part of our Honduras visit! We bought 4 chocolate bars to take home. Did you know good chocolate does not melt?! These candy bars were so good that I had allowed myself a little every day just to make them last! I was so excited to see they now sell them online. I will be a regular customer!

    One stop for chocolate lovers
Situated just opposite the ocean, this pit stop on our tour is worth a visit. Upstairs is where they make the chocolate and you get an interesting explanation on how it is made. Best bit is you get to try all the chocolate. Our favourite was the salted chocolate. Downstairs is a little cafe if you have time.

    Best chocolate I ever tasted!!
The store sells authentic chocolate without sugar that tastes pure and delicious. They also sell cacao beans, coffee, and cocoa butter. I visited the store and tasted different chocolate samples. They were so good, I bought 6 bars! You have to taste Honduran chocolate- so yummy!

    Great Chocolate Making Class
We did the two-hour chocolate making tour with Dani. He made the time fly by as he told us the history of chocolate and guided us through the process. We came home with two large, dark chocolate bars. It was so much fun! I highly recommend it.

    Tasty chocolate!
This tiny little factory was well worth the visit. It was fascinating learning about cacao and making chocolate. There were little dishes with tongs where you could taste all of the varieties of chocolate they had. Just a few are almond, chiles, coffee. I bought a pure 80% cacoa bar, which was not terribly sweet.

Do not waste your money! The chocolate was terrible and tasted like wax. We spend a ton of money and wish we hadn't. They let you sample the varieties chocolate before you buy it, which was nice. We bought small bars of many different varieties including gift boxes to give as gifts. What a disappointment to discover the bars of chocolate we bought tasted NOTHING like the samples!

The tour was boring and uninformative. The chocolate that we bought there was so expensive, which would have been OK if it had been better. Every single "flavor" we got was so bad we could not eat it.

For me, the most important thing about a chocolate "factory" is how the chocolate tastes. For that reason, I give this an average review. It was mildly interesting to hear about how the chocolate is made and to see some of the process. That can't make up, however, for the very poor taste of the chocolate. I have now tried two different varieties and they are both bad. The white chocolate has a horrible aftertaste and the milk chocolate with coconut has a small sprinkling of coconut on top (not mixed in) and the chocolate itself tastes like dark chocolate, and not good dark chocolate. It is supposed to be milk chocolate.
