The place is really lovely to sail around and there are plenty of places to visit. Plan your trip and do a lot of research before going. The pilot-age and charts provided by our charter company were a bit Naff. Mariners and buoy field can be really expensive and booking is recommended. Get back early or late on the Friday as refueling is a pain here. One of the fuel stops put the price up 30% on a Friday and the other one has a queue to refuel which can be up to 2 hours. Many of the people waiting are inexperienced sailors which makes for some very difficult situations.

Had a great time sailing with my friends. Our skipper was Đenko. He is very skilled sailor and we learned a lot about sailing from him. Sailed to the island of Šolta and back.

My wife and I recently spent 7 nights sailing the pristine waters of Croatia ex-Trogir. We sailed on the Vjeko which is a beautiful traditional sailing launch. The quaint fishing villages and stunning coastline make this a very special part of Europe. We will be back.

We had a beautiful afternoon sail to Brac. We arranged to be picked up in Split and met our skipper, Denko, at 13.00 hr. There were 5 in our party (my sister and myself, and our 3 twenty-something daughters). Denko is a very accomplished skipper - we were thoroughly at ease and enjoyed the entire sail. We sailed over to Brac and ventured in a couple of inlets - very tricky sailing but Denko is an expert! We were able to dock at a small village (Milna) and pick up some wine, bread and cheese! Denko was great company and related history of the area. We motored with the sail part of the way back to port due to the late hour (time flies when you are having fun!) and the large waves. The sailboat was a FastWave 30 and very comfortable. We would all do this again in a heartbeat- next visit! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
