I am so glad we took the boat tour to see the bats. It was not the best night to see the bats because it was cloudy and they did not come out until after dark. I don’t think we would have seen much from...More

Once aboard the double-deck tour boat we were treated to an enjoyable, non-stop humorous narrative by our host (Chris?). He described the Austin skyline in detail with historic data and interesting facts. The bat show itself was amazing to watch. Bar and restrooms are on...More

I'm so glad we spent the $12 for the boat tour! Not only did we get to see the bats, but we learned about the city's buildings and history. Must do!!!

Such a fun experience! A short cruise with highlights about Austin. And then the bats! Our captain, Captain Shelby, was knowledgeable and funny. This was our third cruise with Lonestar this summer. Each one very enjoyable!

Highlight of our trip! Well worth the money to watch the bats from the boat, as opposed to the bridge. Tour guide (Captain Hans Solo) was knowledgeable and hysterical. LOVED it!

Hi, yes! There are ramps leading down to the dock, as well as movable ramps for the boats. The only thing that is NOT accessible is the top deck of the Lone Star (double deck paddle wheel boat).

Day or two , even earlier that day possibly . I think it depends on the weather and any local festivals as to how crowded the area will be.
