About
The KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway is a 1.173km-long pedestrian bridge that connects the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to the Impiana KLCC Hotel, KL City Walk and Pavilion shopping mall. There are several entrance and exit points (escalators and staircases) along the bridge. With the KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway, people can travel safely, conveniently and comfortably on foot from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre all the way to Bukit Bintang, and vice versa. Opened in January 2012 by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the bridge is a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative to the city’s busy roads for pedestrians.

It is good to shelter from the sun & rain, but it's very warm, the connection to shopping malls is easy & good. More lights needed, a little run-down.

Very useful linkway bridge to connect from Pavillon Mall to KLCC. Feel pretty safe to walk in the daytime. Avoid all the traffic jam too.

A much better way of getting around than on foot at street level. Often faster than driving or taking a cab. We've used this during the day to avoid the sun and at night to avoid the rain, we always felt safe, even with young children in tow.

Fully air-conditioned, this is a fully covered elevated walkway from KLCC to Pavilion Mall. Providing safety and comfort to pedestrians.
Many of its stairways has lifts and escalators.

I like to take this walkway from Pavilion mall or Bukit Bintang over to KLCC. It protects you from the sun or rain and you don't have to worry about traffic. It is also a nice walk for some exercise.

One has to take a walk. For the regulars, it could be a regular walkway. But for a visitor, it is truly a world class experience. This is another classic example of the progress that the city has seen that it is known for. April 2019.

Using the route to visit the KLCC is amazing as it can save your time from traffic filled streets and mostly importantly, avoiding the scorching hot sun. It is also very convenient too. In addition, the walkway is well maintained and spotlessly clean.

There is an elevator and escalators at the Convention Centre end of the walkway.
At the Pavilion end there are escalators and elevators that service all floors of the shopping Mall.

The walkway goes from Pavilion Mall to the Convention Centre. Google maps says Ramada suites is 650 metres from the start of the walkway at the Pavilion Mall end so that is a walk-able distance to me.

How can i find pedestrian walkway ?

It's quite easy. Jalan Alor is parallel to Jalan Bukit Bintang. Get on to Jalan Bukit Bintang, and proceed to shopping Mall called the Pavilion. Any local should be able to direct you. Once you get to Pavilion, go into the Mall and just ask Information for the pedestrian bridge to go to KLCC where the Twin Tower is located. It is really simple.

I guess there will be a big chance, because the end of year sales begins on November.
What type of ticket should be bought to visit Petronas Twin Towers by 02 adults. How to book a dinner at KL tower hotel ?
Thanks much obliged.

Queueing will offer a better price, but you need to wait awhile (sometimes you may even miss out - due to availability). Best off booking tickets online (or thru an agent) but they are more expensive.
Buy KL Menara Tower (Atmosphere 360) online....extra to reserve a window seat (highly recommended)....I think it's an extra 50myr++. Book for the second seating for dinner as you don't feel rushed.
Where do I begin from the KLCC end? Go to the same floor as the Aquarium?

Take the escalator /staircase in front of the aquarium (near Starbucks). One floor up. Turn right. You will see escalators, go up and you will be entering the walkway

Are we able to get breakfast there?
Are we able to organize driver pick-up from the airport?

Yes, plenty of places to get breakfast. Lots of restaurants, cafés, hawkers, Fast Food outlets. But most of them only open for biz from 9.30am or 10am onwards. I would recommend to have breakfast in the hotel you stay (if it's provided). Otherwise try out those coffee shops or hawkers who open very early. However do ask for the price of food before you order, most of them have fixed price. Those that do not display prices are the ones you have to watch out.
Getting a taxi from your hotel to the airport is not a problem at all. Just ask the hotel to get one, no additional charges. However, never try to get one yourself. Watch out for crooks, they'll cheat their way through. Usually a cab from hotel to airport cost around RM80 - RM100. Get one that issues receipt.
Hope you'll enjoy your holiday in KL.
