Warning: if you are elderly or out of shape then this can be a strenuous climb to the top. Go on a weekday when it is not so crowded. We had to stand in quite a few lines on the way up and down.

We took a bus followed by chairlifts up to the TOP of the hill, then walk our way down . This is the easier way to see the site. The steps were painstakingly chiselled out along the cliffs by a Taoist priest and his followers in the Qing dynasty over 90+ years, can be slippery on a rainy day. The view was good.…
