This structure is in the centre of Xi'an and there is a similar tower nearby. Both are huge built as part of the defensive structures for the city. Not far from the cirty walls so can be seen in the same visit.
This site is worth doing as part of a tour of Xian sites, including the drum tower aswell. It is an interesting building and inside there are photos of how Xian looked earlier in the 20th century. As we were last in Xian 30 years...More
