Uktus is a small skiing resort inside Yekaterinburg city. I wanted to give ural skiing a try without heading too far out of the city and it was a funny experience. The resort is built on a small hill so don't expect French Alps and consists of approx 4 lifts. There's a restaurant and ski rental shop as well as an ice castle. Definitely worth a day trip if you're curious.
