About
We offer space for hiking through trails in an area dedicated to agriculture, with farm animals and beautiful scenic views. At the end of the trip you will find the El Tatica Waterfall. You should bring comfortable walking shoes, rain coat, camera, water and snack. It is advisable to visit in the morning as the day remains sunny and better pictures.

This is the perfect length of hike for all members of the family. You see such beautiful fincas then cross into the cloud forest to have a waterfall and swimming hole at the end. My parents and I loved this beautiful spot.

The hike to the waterfall is through stunning farm. Once you get through the farm there is a short walk through the forest to a great waterfall. The trail was muddy so I recommend good shoes. Well worth the money and the time we took to make this trek!

Last Sunday, a week ago, we went to Bajo Mono Camping Site for the first time. We weren´t expecting this place to be as beautiful as it really is. We loved it! the crops, the views, the landcapes, the flowers, the vegetation, the fall!! Beautiful place. El domingo pasa, hace una semana, visitamos por primera ves Bajo Mono Camping site. Nos encanto todo! las vistas, los paisajes, los cultivos, las flores, y la cascada. Hermoso lugar!

We have been on this hike many times as we are now boquete residents. This is not an aggressive hike but one with a nice contrast through a farm and then a rain forest near the falls. A great place to take visitors who enjoy nature but do not hike much.

Nice little hike of about 1 mile to waterfall El Tatica. Easy to walk, even with flipflops. You go through farmland and the rainforest, where a well maintained wooden path brings you to the waterfall. Some people complain about the 5 dollar fee, but l think it is worth it. We all gotta make a living, so also the people who's land it is.

The hike is short and the trail is poorly maintained. The waterfall is nice but still at $5 it is a complete rip-off. Don't do this.

Thank you very much for your visit ... With all the respect you deserve, I issue the humble opinion of a small farmer who has decided to share part of his property which his family has concervando for over a hundred years. First of all, we do not provide a path for walking you wear, that you can do it in any way publishes and free. We offer the chance to appreciate the waterfall tatica, why we pay taxes to the Panamanian government and not only that but we stop cutting down the forest around many years so that it can keep. We can quietly grow coffee or doing intensive livestock, but no longer exist but this beautiful waterfall that we share with our visitors. Maybe someone uqe is a concrete jungle, you can not understand what I'm trying to say. But we are clear how much it costs to future generations to preserve these natural resources. Maybe you wanted a particular path, I ask my sincere apologies !!! In our property you will not find ... This is a place to appreciate nature, to do some exercise walking, photographing birds, enjoying the music of the forest, the song of the water flowing and even falling in love below the starlight when camping ... is an easy place to go ... With your visit, you contributed to this process of preserving and improving our quality of life through a small income, because we must keep doing ... My sincerest apologies, is not our idea affect economically insignificant ... This is a payment, which when compared with expenditures we usually do, even for us it seems that we spend on ... in a small box of cigars for example. Lets be honest. There is a huge difference between making money out of tourism (when we pay for a provided service, activity, entertainment, etc), and making money out of tourists (in which basically people try to make some extra money overcharging or unscrupulously charging foreigns and tourists for something that should be free or cost a dollar or two). Trail had no signs at all of maintenance or work that justify such a charge. I doubt locals pay 5 dollars to use the trail! There is no control of who is paying or not. Money goes directly to some guy's pocket!

This is an easy, relatively short hike with views of agricultural fields as well as cloud forest. Beautiful flowers along the way also. The waterfall at hike's end is spectacular. We very much enjoyed this experience.

Its a great and peaceful place, lately is getting too much people for my taste. Would like to go back to the times that you got there and could expend at least 20 minutes alone before someone showed up.
