The beach is long and open to the public, parts are referred to as public beaches where the locals go on a Sunday. These are where the car parks are, but the reality is it is all public including in front of the hotels. There...More

Best to visit on a Sunday if you like the vibes of people, music, and liveliness. Otherwise, come during the weekdays for a romantic walk on the beach. Generally, a beautiful long beach to take walks and an plenty of beach front restaurants.

I stayed at sugar beach hotel which had a wonderful private beach and I loved it! The public beach is very well preserved and looked clean ! There are nice villas you can rent facing the ocean

After 2 weeks in the middle of Africa this beach in front of our hotel offered a safe, relaxing place before returning to Australia.

Flic en flac is a must when visiting Mauritius. One of the favourite beaches where you will find locals enjoy the beach in family.

Nice sand beach, quite long with a lot restaurants & bars 😊 prices as in Europe, but acceptable, many nice spots for pictures.

Beach is long and well-groomed with nice view. Little boring after an hour because bottom od water is flat and there is not much to do in the water. It got cameras so everybody can feel safe. Parkings are along all beach.

It's better to have cash with you. Exchange your currency. Use Mauritian Rupees. You can exchange at the airport.
