Variety of branded shops available and decent choices of foods including restaurants and food court. Went to see the Sabah traditional dance/performance as well.at the main entrance (the show will be on daily for every 2 hours as far as I heard from the locals). Went here several times during my visit to shop, unwind and dine. Also the toilets were clean and was freauently cleaned.

The stores were a combination of modest businesses and upscale label stores. Western and regional cuisines were mixed together at the restaurants. The pay machine is a little hidden, but once you find it, it's easy to pay and go out. The parking was nice.

This is a huge shopping mall with a large range of different stores. The centre is clean an presents as aesthetically pleasing. On the lower ground floor there is a market like series of stalls which were fun to look through. Otherwise, there is a range of stores providing lower priced goods through to high end labels.

Locals bemoan that it is more expensive than Suria or othe local malls but it is undoubtedly newer and fancier with luxury outlets a plenty even Godiva. I was excited for my misses to try the Belgian chocolate gelato but, alas, after the kind worker opened the velvet rope to let us inside the illusion was shattered when he said they only had soft serve. He said Dubai is the only place in Asia with the gelato and you could not pay me enough to set foot in that dystopia.
Desa Dairy, from Mount Kinabalu, has an outlet on basement level with their "chocolate gelato" but it, too, is sft serve just like at the source. Its very god but it aint gelato. We opted for the Baskin & Robbins chocolate mousse royale and World class chocolate combo.
There is more than ice cream and chocolate but in Sabah's climate few offerings were as appealing.
I disagree with the comments claiming the location is not central and also disagree that the air con was too strong. I'd rarely rate a mall 5 star, well Jewel at Changi yeah, but hard to find fault with Imago.
Right now there is an anime (Japanese comics) exhibition in the central foyer that is interesting even though we are not anime fans .

New mall in Kota Kinabalu. Luxury brands as well as few local brands are present in this place. Great ambience and very nice for tourists to visit as it showcase the dances and costumes of native people and Malaysia. It is very modern and the ambience is very upscale, it is kind of far from the city center so you might need a Grab

Typical shopping mall - could be anywhere in the world! Very busy, while the rest of town was very quiet - seemed to be badly hit by COVID, with so much closed. A wide range of shops in the mall and we found some good prices (compared to home in New Zealand).

This shopping mall is relatively new and modern, complete good choices of eateries and restaurants, shops. Is about 40 minutes from our hotel in Rasa Ria but only 20 minutes from the airport. Conveniently located and close proximity to many other shopping malls. Also within walking distance to the coast lines which have many stalls selling local cook foods, worth trying. You can spent 4 - 6 hours at this place.

I went there on the first day of my trip to stock up on travel supplies and the day before I returned home to buy souvenirs. At first I didn't know the way so I took a taxi, but you can also walk there from the hotel. If you don't have any luggage, it's a good place to go for a walk. You can find everything you need in the store. Not only are there luxury shops, but there are also many restaurants in the basement where you can buy souvenirs. I bought souvenirs at the supermarket in the basement. There was a Japanese-speaking staff member in the souvenir section who explained various things to me, which was helpful.

The Imago shopping mall has plenty of shops and restaurants and the fast food chains of Kentucky Fried Chicken is there plus many local restaurants like the Chicken Rice Shop. There are medium level branded shops like Kate Spade and Coach for handbags. Lots of shops selling clothes and sportswear and shoes too. I normally go to the shopping malls for my lunch and dinner.

Sorry no there isn’t a Marks & Spencer’s, but you will be very pleased with the shops that are there, it is very large and modern with places to eat and great entertainment for the children. My favourite shopping centre was Centre Point, which is more traditional.

Written 13 November 2017
Imago opens at 10am if you want breakfast at that time.
There are a few stalls selling the standard malaysian fare like roti canai, mee goreng and nasi lemak just across the street from Imago. There is a 24h Nasi kandar stall too.
