Make sure you go around sunset hour because the view is superb. You can walk to this place easily from Wisma Merdeka Mall, Suria Sabah Mall or Hyatt. You will see a KKParks Jeti or a Marlin fish statue just located next to this esplanade where the "I Love KK" signage is located. It will be crowded at times especially holiday season, so please keep your backpack or sling bag secured while strolling along the area.

I walked along the waterfront area of KK several times. It was pleasant enough but nothing to shout about.
There were several photo opps of fishing boats etc.
The markets were good.
It was probably better in the evenings when the restaurants were open.

Only a quick visit is necessary here. The area around the sign is very dirty. But can get a good view as the ocean is behind the sign. Also the sign can be walked to from the main tourist area

Short space and plenty of seafood stalls that one cannot be trusted with the cooking as it does not look inviting.
Hope that the government can over time extend this stretch of walk way for a better stroll and have better looking stalls

This harbour front is one of the best place to watch the sabah sunset. Very close to hotel hyatt regency, easy to reach but very beautiful.

It is immediately behind the Marlin Statue. It is a good place to take photos and to check the sunset.

A-must-go place for tourists. Not far from Suria Sabah Mall or seafood restaurants. So you guys can take a walk alongside the seafront to reach this place

The spot allowed us to view the sea at a very wide angle. The sea was clear enough and we can take many beautiful and impressive photos
It situated at roadside so it was easy to found.

A must do for the traveller - on the waterfront just begging for that selfie with the islands in the background.
