Not open right now, temporary closed.
But the outside still beautiful. No people here, so it is really quiet. We went here at sunset time, it was amazing.

Museum worth a visit
Oct 2019 • Couples
This is a lovely little museum to visit in Ajman- it has lots to offer from early settlers to current development.
It’s set up is very practical showing how the people of Ajman used to live and trade before the current development.
Entrance to this museum is minimal - like other museums in the region.

Stop By While in Ajman
Dec 2019
I was in Ajman for a day trip and stop by because it came up on things to do in Ajman. I am very glad it did because it was a wonderful museum and was very peaceful. I took the round-trip bus trip that will take you from Dubai to Ajman and leaves every 30 mins. If you stay on the bus to the last stop in Ajman then the museum is located right beside it. The museum was under construction while I was there, but the majority of the buildings were open. It also was not crowded at all, and it was a nice break from some of the overly crowded tourist areas. There are different buildings and, in each building, there are scenes with artifacts set up to visually display the history of the emirate culture. My biggest knowledge that I took away was the history of pearling in the UAE. I will admit before going I did not know that use to be a source of income for the UAE.

The gift shop was closed when I was there, so I cannot speak if it will be good for souvenir shopping.

I really had a great time there and found everyone working there to be very nice. They help me out with any questions and gave me some advice to what else to see the next time I am in Ajman. I hope to go back when it is fully completed to see the areas that were under construction while I was there in December.

Great place!

This museum is literally filled with art, models and architecture of the past. It has real life models of humans, animals and cattle with clear descriptions of the nomadic life. One can actually visualize and imagine the past of the UAE people through this museum. Me and my husband enjoyed this trip very much! The ticket for the museum is also really cheap. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone including children and teens that are studying the history of UAE! Wonderful visual learning experience can be sought through this museum! The only drawback is the location. You have to really try hard to find the place as the front entrance was closed when we tried to enter the place and we luckily found a guard who told us that we have to go around the place to enter the museum. There was construction going on at the time so make sure you talk to someone if you think that the museum is closed or shut down before its closing hours, we thought that it was closed in the beginning!
