Reaching Apollonia Ancient City - from some distance there is a kind of ruins of walls. Short trekking is needed to reach the top and there it is the ancient city with ruins of cisterns, churches, sarcophagus, and all usual "facilities" of ancient city in the past. Located almost in the middle of nowhere and to be accompanied with somebody who knows the place is necessary. There is no information or any guidance of direction on this ancient city. There are many "Apollonia" ancient cities in other countries but we have one close to Kas / Antalya. Trekking around the ancient city is very pleasant, peaceful, and quiet. Often we saw goat flocks around.
