About
Many come to OTOP for authentic street food and to shop for souvenirs and other goods to take home. Prices aren't as cheap as in other markets, but there are still plenty of bargains to be had.

OTOP Patong Market Phuket promotes locally made products sourced from subdistricts (tambon) throughout Thailand. Its name is an acronym for ‘One Tambon One Product’. The market encourages village communities to improve their products' quality and marketing.

A superior product is selected from each tambon to receive formal branding as an OTOP product. Expect plenty of traditional handicrafts, silk garments, cotton products, pottery, fashion accessories, household items and regional food.

Highlights of OTOP Patong Market Phuket :-

OTOP Patong Market Phuket is on Rat-U-Thit Road, directly opposite Dusit D2 Phuket and Hard Rock Café. The market gets busy when small bars within its compound start to fill up in the late evenings. Stall owners rarely hassle passersby, which you often encounter on Soi Bangla and Beach Road.

You can combine a night out of drinking at the (mostly Aussie) bars lining the alleys with some souvenir shopping. There’s a money exchange bureau at the corner of the market on the main road, as well as several ATMs. Along the well-lit alleyways, you’ll find several restaurants, mobile food carts, a designated whiskey shop, and a Black Canyon Coffee outlet.

Must go!!!
Feb 2020
This market was next to our hotel.
It has everything you are looking for!!
We made great shopping there(it was the only place in Patong where we found soaps traditionally carved as flowers with a coconut base like little plate, everywhere else they had something similar but with candles. It was such a great gift!!), there where many stands with food, anything you could ask for. We ate 2,3 times there and we were really satisfied!!
Since this place is huge there are also bars where you can enjoy your drinks!!!
If you visit Patong you should go there!!!!

Good place for shopping
Mar 2020 • Solo
Otop is probably the best market for shopping in Patong. There's a variety of clothing and tourist tat available at reasonable prices. Remember to bargain, the stall holders always inflate prices and are willing to reduce the price.
Make sure you have small denomination notes to pay for your purchases.
I come here every year and end up buying something.
Best time is late afternoon and early evening.

Lively night life

Mainly food vendors and bars here with some shops/stalls for tourists. Busy at night, food was OK and cheap, I preferred Malin Plaza however this was on our way to Bangla Road so we visited a couple of evenings as well as during the day.

Boring. Less food variety. Go to Malin Plaza.

This was average. I’d advise going to Malin Plaza instead. Here there is less variety and it’s not as live. There are lots of flee markets and it is close to Bangla road.

Cheap and cheerful!
Jan 2020 • Friends
A nice little place to stop by if you’re after some super cheap dinner and a bit of shopping.

I had some HUGE crumbed prawns for a couple of dollars and we all enjoyed a watermelon shake for just 50 baht each.

Banana and Nutella pancakes from the little stand out the front were delicious!

Would definitely return!

really good street food
Jan 2020
It's a really nice market to spend a few hours in the evening for some food and little browse around the shops. The street food is great and I found it reasonable in price but extremely tasty. We really enjoyed our time here in the markets and trying the different food. There are also pop up bars and plenty of places to sit and enjoy your food and people watching, I recommend if your in the area to take little in and see what it is all about.

Great street food
Jan 2020
Placed in the center of Patong is the best choice to have good cheap food. Avoid all the restaurants which have extremely high prices. This area has all kind of food, in very big portions, good quality and very cheap prices. You can have a whole dinner for only 2 to 4 euros per person.
The variety is very big from fishes to crabs, from local thai food to burgers and from crocodiles to deers. All our 4 nights we ate there and it was amazing
Also the area has dozen of small shops with clothes and souvenirs some of them with good bargains and some bars like all the town.
