the infamous Bangla Walking Street in Phuket is not spare with the covid pandemic agony. the place is so quiet and deserted. only a few bars are opened and hardly any customers in there. it's a sad scene and I hope the pandemic will be over soon and bring back the colours and excitement back to this place.

No many bars where open, but this who are was ok, friendely staff and good service. Because of the Covid 19 situation is not much going on in Bangla Soi.

A MUST Visit when in Phuket(April 2019)

Its a fun funnn street with clubs, bars, restaurants surrounding on both sides. With performers performing live. Its a very lively place with something to do and enjoy for everyone.
BEWARE of scammers and ping pong shows it can be risky and a bad experience. Just keep your thoughts clear to have a good time with your friends, family or even spouse.
Dont mistake this place as only for singles looking for "Good time". I went with my wife and friends and we had ball of a time. You can eat, drink, party and have a night to remember. It even has a 7-Eleven so you can imagine how convenient the whole street is. Do visit Club Illuzion there if you like clubbing.

Bar street in Patong

Bangla Road is the popular walking street of Phuket where all the different types of bars, Night clubs are located and it is buzzing with tourists at night. We were staying at Baan Laimai Beach Resort in Patong and Bangla Road was located at a walking distance from our hotel. We had visited the Monsoon Bar and some other bars here for drinks, live music and more.

Imagine if bangla road was Latin America. Would be awesome. People dancing salsa, passion, charisma but instead it's just shallow, empty people on their smartphones looking for attention. God I miss south America, so much better than South East Asia

Well what can I say but Bangladesh Rd is a sad image of its formal self
Bars closed but a few bars open but very few customers and what girls are there just look at every person to try and get them in to drink .now you can get beers as low as 50 baht which would not ever happen before covid.
But most of Patong is like a ghost town

What a surprise to find that Bangla Road is truly suffering big time. Only a few bars open at night and staffed by very bored people that are desperate for customers.
Forget finding anything to eat because there is no where open. Shops including the 7/11’s are boarded up and it all amounts to a pretty dull place to be at this difficult time.

This is the party street of Phuket with lots of pubs. It also have strip clubs. The place is fun to hang out late in the night. Just be wary of the tuk tuk scam. They charge exhorbitantly in the night to drop you back to your hotel.

ITs a very popular spot and something to try it out if you like music and partying!
Its usually open till 4-5 am and its always happening!
of course, you need to get used to an aggressive ,marketing and people will "attack you" since they are trying to sell you whatever! as well, you have to be carful with your pockets and money at night!
other then that, its always good times and etc!

So far ok. As they scan every ppl in airport before entering and leaving the airport. Since it's the outbreak of Coronavirus, we wear mask all the time. Do sanitize your hand all the time too. Hope this will be helpful to you

Just get a massage and the right girl will do anything you want. The cheapest massage with no "extras" is 200 B or about $6 USD for an hour. There are dozens of massage parlors and probably not a "best one". With the hour massage they will give you a straight massage for about 30 min or whatever they they start touching you and talking you into more. Of course it costs more but it's all negotiable. If you don't have enough cash with you they will take you to an ATM after. Most of the girls are probably late 20's to 30's and into their 40's. Some may be older it is difficult to tell their age.
Beware of the lady boys they are usually taller and more aggressive such as grabbing your arm and pulling you to their shop. I'm surprised your wife would let you do this but what do I know.

It varies where you go Phuket is the more expensive area. There are web sites you can go to to view call girls. These girls are usually more attractive and will come right to your condo or hotel.

There isn't any parking close to Bangla Road area, people just park on the side of the road. There are no "spots" as such. Most tourists don't take rental cars, but either use tuk-tuk, Grab app for taxis, scooter taxis of if you want to DIY then take a rental scooter. They're more readily available and much easier to drive than a car (although if you haven't driven in Thailand, I'd recommend not doing that in your first time)
