Just had a round there yesterday after my last time 5 years ago. The course is still absolutely beautiful and challenging . More importantly, the course is very well maintained...fairways and greens are still in pretty good shape. I still high recommend to those who want to have a nice round of golf in Hau Hin. This month, the green fee is 50% off as part of Hau Hin Golf festival, same as Black Mountain.

What's going on at Banyan - For sure, a really beautiful course and offers both challenges and tests for all levels of players but my goodness, why on earth are they not pricing their green fees at least a little bit similar to other good courses (Palm Hills being one example) - Perhaps they consider exclusivity to be the order of the day and whilst this may be the case, they would do well to remember that there are so many other course choices in the area where green fees are certainly much more reasonable. The restaurant has also scored down IMO - the older menu was varied and well priced. Now, the choice is less appealing than previously and the food quality has taken a slide in the downward direction again In my opinion of course. On balance, it's all worth playing a round there whilst also looking at one or more of the many courses in the area.

We (7) played golf at Banyan Golf Club. The locker room was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The caddies were nice. The golf course is wonderful, well maintained, challenging, and hilly.

Good golf course not as good as Black Mountain, course was in OK condition, Caddies were charming and knowledgeable. The pins had a ring round them, of about 0.5m and if you were in the ring it was a gimmie, which I found a bit odd. Bar restaurant was good, pro shop is quite small. Worth a trip.
