We wanted a 3 night safari and to go to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. We contacted several companies and decided to go with Magandula because we got prompt replies and a very good price. Another plus is that he only has a max of 4 people in a van though in our case there were just the 2 of us as they would only put us with 2 other English people if there was another booking. We were a little worried at paying a 20% deposit and being met a couple of days before going on safari to pay the balance however all was more than OK. People at the gate knew Magandula and the only reason that he can't come into the hotel to meet you is that the main tour operators have the monopoly on the tours being sold from within the hotel.
Ezekiel was our guide and we were very lucky to see the big 5. We paid £328 each staying at Ngulia Lodge, Voi Lodge and Kibo Camp, so thought this was very good value. I doubt that much profit would have been made on this as a lot of the costs would be the same as for 4 people. They just rely on word of mouth recommendations which I am more than happy to do, i am off back home

Traveling alone at around fifty years has been worrying me, i was focused to visiting the western circuit of Tanzania by public means from Dar to mbaya to sumbawanga for the Katavi national park where i i needed to see the migration of elephants there, i again did a public bus to Kigoma through Uvindza to Kigoma where i finally met Magandula
It has not been easy the communication, the trust and the deposit and how much to pay upfront and how to trust a foreign agency sending money before hand
i must appreciate the patience by him of the many questions i asked i think i did over a hundred emails just to get clarifications of the logistics, he managed to answer accurately making me and it possible to travel to the most remote part of Tanzania
Lastly i want to appreciate the 670usd trip for privately visiting Gombe stream national park privately with accommodations at the Tanapa bandas, the accommodation , guide and staff at Gombe were up to the standard
Again thank you magandula for your time

I contacted Maga due to his positive feedback of our friends who did Safari With Trails of East Africa a few months ago
He always answers e-mails right away, communicates well with whatsapp and Calls well answered. So he made an offer for a safari which I accepted my wives relatives from Germany were travelling to meet her here in Kenya so they wanted us to take them to Tanzania for the completion of their holiday. I had to make a deposit of 30% on his account. It was scary ask my inlaws to transfer so much money to a foreign account and pay the rest cash two days upfront without even a receipt. But everything went well. There was only one incident. While at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge we could not get rooms though we had the service vouchers but thank to Maga for his quick intervention we were finally sorted , he called the reservation manager Ben and finally talked to the manager and we arrived at the the room in time. Magandula is trustworthy. I wish I could have scheduled more safaris with him.

We are a Kenyan school with a class of around 35 students, we were so much interested of visiting the very famous National parks in Tanzania this being Serengeti, Ngoro ngoro Manyara and Tarangire,Tanzania is very rich of culture , Flora and Fauna, even though we were travelling with the minimum budget available on the land, these national parks deprived us nothing, my students and I managed to see the most famous Climbing lions in Manyara, the lots of Lions in Serengeti, Best of all the rhinos at the crater rim.
This was only possible after we had contacted Magandula of Trails of East Africa asking him if he could handle primary school students from Kenya for five days on budget. Magandula was very positive and really helpful to the much required assistance needed at the border post for the students to visit a foreign country
Thank you so much for your extra Mile
