I really wanted to visit this Church, but then when getting to its gate the guard demanded an exorbitant parking fee.
I was so surprised and disappointed that I just left.

Parking is unreasonably expensive, but there is a lane outside where you can park your car along the road. Another problem with this place is that the local gift shop does not accept credit cards. Cash only.
Otherwise, my wife and I enjoyed this small courtyard with a beautiful tree and a small pond with plump fish.
A bit of interesting history, but in general it makes sense to come here either if you were specifically looking for it, or as one of the points of interest of a long excursion.

A lovely site which is well worth a visit. The church boasts beautiful 5th century mosaics. Considered to be the site of the loaves and fishes miracle.

This church and place commemorates the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. It is a peaceful and beautiful church of extreme significance. Set in tended grounds. There is a mosaic of the event and as usual signage indicating the numerous religious buildings identified on excavation.

This was one of the stops as we toured around Galilee. The main attraction is two churches which have both a story to tell in the Holy Land.
The area is popular amongst your groups so it can get very busy so be patient. Certainly worth a visit as part of your Holy Family story.
Both churches do have stricter dress code rules which they monitor- these are clearly signposted. You will need a couple of hours to view what is on offer. Probably best couples with a visit to the Mount of Beatitudes and Capharnaum.

We were fortunate to find the church very quiet which was a joy. We were very sorry that the shop was shut and there was not much information available but it is a stunning place and we were really pleased we went

Doesn't it miss its purpose?
The whole region is full of places of significance, churches, monasteries, places of reflections and introspection...
Why would you ask to pay for (and not a small fee) to park your car to be there?
Truly I can't understand.

Wow, the site where Jesus did the miracle of Multiplication. Takes the 3 loaves and 2 fish and feeding the crowds. This church is very pretty and is a must see site.

Unlike Beatitudes, we were met by a delightful young man who smiled and welcomed us before asking for payment for parking! Why oh why do churches do this? Let us leave a donation instead!
