We arrived at Saturday in the end of July. The price was at the sky 100 nis per person for one hour tour. For reference we paid 400 nis for a motor boat in the sea of Galili. The place was crowded, So the crew just put the life belts in a big cans mixed sizes and 100 people started to fight to get one. Next, in the line there were young brutal Muslims that push you to get in before you, that’s was better from how those guys treat you at the river… Beside those guys ,that try to push your boat while they are doing everything that is not allowed, like take of the belt, stop the traffic, etc. The whole way in the sides there were Muslims who through thing on you ,push you , put loud music, try to turn of our boat… The worst was , one guy that run towards us with a bamboo in his hand, and aiming the bamboo toward my son. Then he stopped, and smile. I really wanted to kill him. If just all his village wasn’t there… Shortly ,terrible experience. There wasn’t even one crew guy all the way. Seems like they don’t want to confront those Muslims. Because they are their massive customers. It makes non Muslims customers non welcome and feel threatened . Bottom line if you are a Muslim you’ll probably will enjoy it. If you are not. Pick another adventure.

This is a great attraction for a relaxed 1-hour kayaking on the Jordan river. The flow is decent even during the hot days of summer, which is the recommended time to visit, as the temperature outside soars and the water remain VERY cold and refreshing.

We took the long/challenging route with the older kids. Two busses from where you buy the tickets to when you start. Not a big challenge - you "crash" into a few walls/stones/trees/etc., but nothing to be worried about. This is not white water raftering. Once you join the relaxed route it is quite boring. Not much shade so make sure to put on enough sunscreen and take hats.

Come very early - it opens 10:00, we came 09:45 (and were not the first). almost no waiting in line. We took the long ride (more then 2 hours) - much more fun and recommended... Important: no Israeli pays the full price, all have coupons of different kinds. There are much better places around for a picnic so do not eat here.

This raft ride is partly owned by the Kfar Blum kibbutz. The day we were there it was very busy but there was order within the chaos. 4 or 5 in a raft for an hour float trip down tributaries of the Jordan River. Flat river with a current and one small river drop. Changing rooms at the take out that were on the wet nasty side. The river is shallow and you can stand almost the way in the river. Very busy with Israeli camp kids. Recommend if you are traveling with children. Hope this helps.
