The Neka Art Museum lies right off a busy street, but once we entered it felt like we were transported to a serene place. Surprisingly, there were hardly any visitors on the afternoon in which we visited, even though the town of Ubud was bustling...More

I spent several hours wandering the galleries here. There are several pavilions with well curated exhibitions. The gardens are beautiful and so were the ducks. Lovely place.

This museum was very easy to visit due to the small texts beside the paintings. I can really recommend this place if the sun is hot or on a rainy day. Don't miss the fifth hall of contemporary paintings from other ethnic groups in Indonesia....More

This museum/art collection is definitely worth a visit if you are in Ubud for a few days - the paintings in the first villa and the photos from 1939 in one of the other villas are particularly good.

I think it is Rp75,000 per person. If you stay at Villa Sanggingan just down the street which is owned By Pak Neka, you qualify for free entry.
